Evard The Hermit: Through Fears is an action-adventure Metroidvania set during the medieval period.

Rich story

Evard has the ability to absorb the fears of other people, but this does not happen without his own psyche being affected — his own mind gets filled with fears and phobias, sowing endless anxiety and crowding out memories.

After escaping from prison, Evard will have to:

• locate various sources of fear, face them head-on, and overcome a range of phobias.
  
• be led by flashbacks that allow him to discover the secret of his origins.
  
• explore the post-war medieval world and encounter different situations and people.
